Judith Simon Garrett, Secretary-Treasurer |
Judith Simon Garrett is Secretary-treasurer of the Women's Freedom Network and has a background in law and criminology. Ms. Garrett graduated from the Washington University School of Law, St. Louis, Mo. She now serves as an Assistant General Counsel for the Bureau of Prisons in the U.S. Department of Justice. Before attending law school, Ms. Garrett worked as a guard in a medium security men's prison. Following law school, she clerked for Federal District Court Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson in the District of Columbia. Ms. Garret has written articles on prisons in Israel and on the status and performance of female correctional officers in men's prison.
